As SWFL's first microbrewery Naples Beach Brewery employs a community focused approach to growing the culture of quality beer here in beautiful Naples. We take pride in providing the freshest beers made from ingredients of the highest quality.
We brew our handcrafted beers on a 15 barrel, 3 vessel steam heated brewhouse built in Michigan by CraftWerk Brewing Systems. We also work on a custom built 132 gallon, 3 vessel pilot system to develop recipes for in house sale and future large volume production.
Will Lawson - Founder/Director of Brewery Operations, moved to Naples in 2003 to work as a Golf Course Superintendent. Will is originally from Michigan and has a degree in Turfgrass Management from Michigan State University. Early on he noticed that the local retailers were missing the variety of beers he was used to getting up north and that the community was missing out on the culture and connectivity that a local brewery provides.
After familiarizing himself with the brewing process through the hobby of home brewing, Will made the leap towards becoming a professional brewer in 2007 when he enrolled in brewing curriculum at the Siebel Institute of Chicago. Upon completion of the Diploma Course which is split between two campuses Chicago and Munich, Germany, Will returned home to Michigan to begin working at a small brewery in Ann Arbor.
It was during this time that the commitment to put a brewery in Naples was finalized. After working in the brewery for over two years plan Will and family made the move back to Naples in 2011 to realize the goal of opening Naples' first microbrewery.
Naples Beach Brewery opened in November 2012. We are proud to provide this community with a local brand of fresh beers brewed from the finest ingredients found anywhere in the world. Thank you for supporting your local brewery.
